Hall of Famer Juan Marichal was a ten-time All-Star, 1965 All-Star Game MVP, threw a no-hitter in June of 1963 and was a 2x NL wins leader - including 26 in 1968, which remains a franchise record and his No. 27 is retired by the Giants. On the front left tail of this cream knit, is the McAULIFFE label, a red year tag below: ‘68 and an adjacent white size tag: 42. Player name (Marichal) is chain stitched in orange on a felt strip, inside the neck. Team name (GIANTS) is arched across the chest, and player number (27) on the back - both done in black felt, on orange tackle twill. The “7” has some loose felt threading on the outside of the slant. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used, and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a letter from PM&G, grading it a 10.
