A decade before taking over the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Landry was halfback and co-captain of the University of Texas Longhorns, who upset Georgia in the Orange Bowl in 1949. This excellent condition copy of that year's Cactus, his senior class yearbook, shows a dashing young Landry with a full head of hair posing with the team and in a separate picture as co-captain. He signed the latter picture in black marker, the signature rating a 9. He is also seen with the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and T Society and as a Goodfellow graduate. The yearbook comes with three vintage 16" x 20" Longhorn team photos including one with Landry on the 1947 squad that won the Sugar Bowl.
