The bull-necked, fresh-faced young men pictured here in their white sweaters comprised the College Football All-Star team in 1946. The vintage photo includes Notre Dame's Johnny Lujack, Georgia's Charley Trippi, and arguably the best quarterback of all time, Northwestern's Otto Graham, who stands second from the left in row two, fresh from leading the All-Stars to a 16-0 drubbing of the NFL champion LA Rams in the College All-Star Game at Soldier Field. In the years to come, Graham would lead the Cleveland Browns to seven titles. The 11" x 19" framed photo is in very good condition with a fold line down the middle.
