Lenny “Nails” Dykstra was a real fan favorite. His accolades include: 1986 WS Champ and a 3x MLB All-Star. In 1993, he played in 161 games and set a then MLB record with 773 plate appearances. He led the league in runs, hits, walks and at-bats and was runner up to Bonds for NL MVP. In the 93 WS, Dykstra batted .348 and hit four dingers. On the front left tail of this grey knit, is the RUSSELL ATHLETIC / Diamond COLLECTION label with size (44). Team name (Phillies) across the front, in red and blue embroidery on white tackle twill. The right sleeve is adorned with a 1993 WS patch. Player number (4) on the left sleeve as well as the back. Player name (DYKSTRA) across the back. Both done in red on white tackle twill. Dykstra has signed the back number in black marker, in our opinion rating a 7. The sides are taken in under the arms, as per player specficiation. Inside the back of the waistband on the pants is the RUSSELL ATHLETIC / Diamond COLLECTION label with size (33), a material tag and a tag reading “28” Inseam”. Adjacent is a set tag reading “4 DYKSTRA 33-28-93”. This uniform is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a letter from Photo-Match.com confirming the match to a game earlier in the 1993 season.
