However, this Kansas City Athletics Flannel jersey is a rare and hard to obtain item. On the left tail is the year tag "1956" in black chain stitch and next to this is the "Wilson" label with the size "42." Across the front is the name "Athletics" in script style letters and on the back is the player number "14". Both the name and number are made of red on blue felt. On the left sleeve is the "A's" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
