This grey flannel road jersey was worn by right-handed pitcher Tom Gorman during the 1957 season. In the neck is a grey felt patch with the player name "Gorman" in navy chain stitch. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag and next to it is the size tag "44." Inside the left front tail is the wash tag and on its right is a flag tag reading "Set 1 1957." The A's embroidered logo patch is sewn onto the left sleeve. The team name "Athletics" is sewn across the front of the jersey and the player number "37" is sewn across the back. All of the letters and numbers are made of red on navy felt. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
