The New York Mets organization won their 4,000th game on July 8th, 2014 with help from back-to-back Cy Young winning ace Jacob DeGrom. DeGrom threw 7 shutout innings with 11 strikeouts in the victory over the Atlanta Braves. DeGrom also won Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 with a 9-6 record and 2.69 ERA. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “46” with an MLB hologram attached serial number “HZ187127”. Below is an additional Majestic tag. Across the chest reads “Mets” in script. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “48” and across the back is the player name “DeGrom”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the black “RALPH KINER 1922-2014” patch and black “FC” patch in honor of former general manager Frank Cashen. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA and a Mets LOA.
