Hall of Famer Glen Sather made his NHL debut in 1966 wearing a Boston uniform, playing 5 games for the Bruins that season. He became a regular in the up and coming team’s lineup in 1967-68 and played two full seasons with the team. Presented is a rookie era jersey worn by Sather. The jersey shows stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, areas of pilling and approximately 15 repairs throughout. Inside the rear neck is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. The Bruins team logo crest is on the front with blood staining. The player number “14” is on both sleeves and the back in yellow on white tackle twill. This jersey is from the pre fight strap era. There are two small areas of glue residue on the back shoulders from prior framing. Sourced from the team’s physician, this jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as gamme-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
