On April 5, 1993, the expansion Florida Marlins played their first-ever game, hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at Pro Player Stadium, marking the debut of major league baseball in the Sunshine State. This ONL White ball was used in that opening day game, a 6-3 Marlins victory, and is signed by each team's manager and starting pitcher, the Dodgers' Tom Lasorda and Orel Hershiser and the Marlins' Rene Lachemann and Charlie Hough. The signatures are in blue pen and rate between 8 and 9. On the sweet spot is a handwritten "Opening Day, 93, game ball."
