Veteran Wrigley Field denizens always check the NL team flags that adorn the roof of the "friendly confines." If they're whipping in the wind, look out, baseballs will be flying out like swallows. These three team flags have all flown over Wrigley and are probably still shaking. The Atlanta Braves flag was used during the 1997 season and read "Braves" in maroon capital letters on a navy blue background. The Arizona Diamondbacks flag from 1998 reads "Diamondbacks" in purple capital letters on an orange-brown background. The Milwaukee Brewers flag also from 1998 reads "Brewers" in yellow capitals on a navy blue background. The nylon flags, which measure 30" high and 59" wide, naturally show element-related damage and come with letters of authenticity from the Cubs.
