Two men in the heart of the Brooklyn Dodgers' batting order who could ignite a rally on will alone were Jackie Robinson and Duke Snider, and their swashbuckling charm and grit are captured here along with five pitchers who feared none. The photos display: Jackie sliding home in a mighty cloud of dirt; Brooklyn's hurlers Erskine, Roe, Black, Meyer and Cox showing off their grips (photo is autographed); and the Duke of Flatbush sending a fat pitch soaring to the outer reaches of Ebbets Field. All three photos are in excellent condition, the Robinson and Snider photos are mounted under glass in handsome frames.
