This cap comes to us from the personal collection of Rick Rhoden. It was worn by Rhoden of the LA Dodgers during the 1976 All-Star Game played on July 13, 1976 at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. Rhoden pitched one scoreless inning, allowing a hit. The game resulted in a 7-1 victory for the NL. “New Era” manufactured adjustable back cap, size “MEDIUM-LARGE”. At the front of this red white and blue pillbox cap is the National League “N” embroidered in blue. The cap shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is a very unique style cap as it was only used one time in the history of the All-Star Game. Accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Rick Rhoden.
