The 2023 Texas Longhorns football team made the school’s first playoff appearance since the 2014 NCAA Postseason format change. This season would be team's last season as members of the Big 12 Conference before joining the Southeastern Conference on July 1, 2024. Led by head coach Steve Sarkisian and starting quarterback Quinn Ewers, the Longhorns were able to win the Big 12 Division I championship game defeating Oklahoma State 49–21 on December 2, 2023. This size 12.5 (112g / 3.95oz) championship ring was presented to linebacker Ben Armstrong in 2023. This oversized ring features a large diamond in the shape of a football surrounded by many smaller diamonds covering the face of the ring. The Longhorns logo appears in the center and is surrounded by the text “Big 12 Champions”. The left side reads “2023” with the College Football Playoffs logo below. The right side reads “Armstrong 42” with a football helmet emblem. The rear side of the band reads “JWM” which stands for “John Wick Mentality”. The term was used by Sarkisian stating that his team has adapted “this mindset of being on a mission” and by Ewers stating “It's kind of like John Wick. He's being hunted, but at the same time, he's hunting those guys as well.” The interior of the band reads “FAFO” which is Sarkisian’s new motto for the team meaning “F*** around and find out.” Below that line is a depiction of the UT Tower and the score of the Big 12 Championship game “49-21”. The Baron Rings logo can be found on the opposite side of the interior section. The ring is in mint condition. This ring comes directly from Ben Armstrong and is accompanied by his LOA.
