Hello World. Tiger showed the golf world a small glimpse into a different and eternally exciting future at this event. In 1992, the Nissan Los Angeles Open at Riviera CC was the site of Tiger Woods' first PGA Tour event as an amateur player. He was only 16-year-old as a high school sophomore and was the youngest male ever to compete in an official tour event. The rest was truly history. This is wood framed (21” x 36”) and matted display. The focal point is artwork of Sam Snead, winner of the 1945 and 1950 LA Open, with “1992 NISSAN LOS ANGELES OPEN RIVIERA COUNTRY CLUB FEB. 23 - MAR. 1” printed below. Matted below that is a full ticket to the event which is signed and inscribed by the young already world beating amateur “To Andy Best of luck, TIger Woods”, in blue pen, in our opinion rating a 9. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA. Accompanied by a letter from our consignor, whose family owned a local Nissan dealership and was granted VIP access to the event and got the ticket signed in person. Wow. Additional shipping and handling may apply.
