Hall of Fame forward Rick Barry is the only player ever to lead the NCAA, NBA, and ABA in scoring. In the 1969-70 ABA season, Barry averaged 27.7 points and finished second in MVP voting. In the 1970 ABA All-Star Game, Barry put up 16, 7 & 7 and his West beat the East 128 - 98. Participants in the contest included: Spencers Haywood, Warren Jabali, Larry Brown, Bob Netolicky, Louie Dampier, and Mel Daniels. The displayability of this jersey is as good as it gets. Inside the back left tail, is the Rawlings size 42 label, with attached XL and wash tags. Team name (WEST) across the chest with two surrounding stars, player number (25) on the front/back, and player name (BARRY) arched across the back - all done in white tackle twill. Barry wore No. 24 during the season but Spencer Haywood who was also on the West’s All-Star team pulled rank with the number. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Wow.
