Lot Description  

Galehouse led the American League in fewest bases on balls allowed per nine innings pitched (2.482) in 1947. SPALDING stamp on the leather sweatband and Dennis Galehouse stitched in. Size tag has fallen off. Cleveland’s ‘C’ in red felt on the crown. This cap is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear.
