HOFer, Johnny Bench. After appearing in just 26 games in '67, Bench showed flashes of what was to come in his first full season, appearing in 154 games with 15 homers and 82 RBI to earn Rookie of the Year honors. He proceeded to win two National League MVP honors and become widely regarded as the greatest catcher of all time. This is a Hillerich & Bradsby R161 Johnny Bench pro model bat - 35.5” / 32.2oz. Handle crack, many ball marks and stitch impressions, moderate pine tar, model (R161) stamped into the knob and Bench’s number (5) is written on the knob in black marker. This bat is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA letter - GU 9.5.
