The 1956 MLB All-Star Game was held at Griffith Stadium in Washington DC. HOFer Ted Williams went 1-4 with a homer, driving in Nellie Fox. Walter Alston managed the NL and Casey Stengel the AL. Adirondack model 175A Flame Burned Ash Ted Williams pro model bat - 35” / 31.5oz. Evidence of several ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks, light coat of pine tar. Model number (175A) is stamped into the knob. The handle of the bat has been signed and inscribed by Williams: ‘To Dan(or Don)___Washington All Star Game July 10, 56’. The signature is done in pen and is faded. Accompanied by a letter from PSA/DNA - GU 9.5 - 1B32562. Also accompanied by a JSA ALOA.
