Danny Wuerffel is one of the most decorated players in Florida State history. Wuerffel played under coach, Steve Spurrier, from 1993 to 1996 and helped the Gators win 4 consecutive Southeastern Conference titles. Wuerffel led the NCAA in touchdown passes in 1995 and 1996 and set numerous school and conference records during his career. In 1996 Wuerffel and the Gators won their first national championship with Wuerffel receiving the Heisman Trophy for his efforts. This 1996 Heisman Trophy Ring was presented to the “Gator Great” with his name appearing on the right side of the ring. The size 12 10K ring has the inner stamp of “HJ-10K” and is accompanied by the original Herff Jones box.
