“Why England Slept” was written by John F. Kennedy during his senior year at Harvard. This copy is signed by both John F. Kennedy Jr. and Caroline Kennedy. The book was intended to be no more than Kennedy’s university thesis but his father encouraged him to publish it. The book discusses Kennedy’s foreign policy viewpoints and the reasons why the United Kingdom did not respond to the rise Nazi Germany. This copy is the 1981 reprint.
