John Brodie is a SF 49ers Quarterback legend, playing his entire career with them (1957-1973). His No. 12 is retired by them and he is a member of their HOF. His accolades include: 1970 NFL MVP, 2x Pro Bowler, 2x NFL passing TD’s leader and 3x NFL passing yards leader. Brodie was also a standout at Stanford and was even a professional golfer. Only a few Brodie jerseys have surfaced in recent decades. On the front left tail of this red knit is the Wilson label with wash instructions and size (42). Player number (12) on the front/back and both sleeves. Player name (BRODIE) across a red nameplate on the back. All done in white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. The jersey has been graded A10 by MEARS but the letter itself has been misplaced.
