First ballot Hall of Famer Steve Carlton won two World Series and was a four-time National League Cy Young Award winner. Carlton won his second Cy Young award in the 1977 season, winning 23 games with a sparkling 2.64 ERA in 283 innings pitched. On the left front tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “46 77 1” embroidered in navy chain stitch. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with the player name “Carlton” embroidered in navy chain stitch. On the left chest is the team “P” logo. The player number “32” appears on both the front and back and across the back is the player name “CARLTON” on a powder blue nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white tackle twill. The front is a full zipper and is functional. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use and is in unimprovable condition. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA.
