Brian Leetch was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility. In 2017 Leetch was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Inside the tail is a Rangers team tag reading “Game Jersey Set 1 2001-2002 Season” and a MeiGray Group tag reading “2001-02 Set 1”. Attached inside beneath the collar is a flag tag reading the size “56”. On the left shoulder is the 9/11 memorial ribbon patch. Diagonally down the front reads “RANGERS”. The player number “2” is on both sleeves and the back and across the back is the player name “LEETCH”. On the upper left chest is the alternate captain’s “A” logo. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white tackle twill. The fight strap is intact and board burns and stick marks are present throughout.
