Two-sport standout Jack McCartan earned a bronze medal with the USA Baseball Team at the 1959 Pan American Games and a gold medal with the USA Hockey Team at 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. Later he played professionally in the NHL and WHA and is a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Inside the rear collar is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. Across the front reads “U.S.A.” and on the back is the player number “14” both in royal blue on red felt. Red and blue piping is along the trim of the collar, sleeve cuffs and button path. On the left sleeve is a beautiful “USA 1959 PAN-AMERICAN GAMES” patch. Matching Wilson manufactured size “36" button-fly pants are also included. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
