The all-time home run king Barry Bonds was appointment television during the 2001 season when cracking down on Mark McGwire’s single-season home run mark of 70. Bonds set the bar with 73 home runs in a single-season, a record that may never be broken. Drawing 177 walks in the season, Bonds rarely saw a pitch he could square up, but when he was given a good pitch he would routinely take pitchers deep. FILA manufactured size “11.5” cleats with black, grey, and orange trim. Bonds signed the outside of the right cleat in grey marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. Also included are a pair of Franklin “BONDS” batting gloves that show use and a pair of wristbands with “FILA 25” embroidered in orange on them. Accompanied by a Bonds COA and an ALOA from JSA.
