The San Francisco Seals were a minor league baseball team that played in the Pacific Coast League from 1903 until 1957. Inside the rear collar of this flannel jersey is the Spalding manufacturer’s tag with two attached flag tags reading the size “44” and one with washing instructions. On the left chest reads “SEALS” and on the back is the player number “24” both in navy blue felt. Staining is present in the collar. Also included is a pair of Wilson flannel pants size “38” with a heavily faded number written in. The long sleeve undershirt features a Wilson tag in the collar and the number “42” on the front chest. A pair of navy blue stirrups complete the uniform. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
