This turn of the century flannel jersey, cap and jacket come directly from the Bill Hoffer family. Hoffer played from 1895-1901. The manufacturer’s tag and player ID tagging from the inside collar of this flannel jersey have been removed with an outline remaining. The sun collar has been reattached and the bottom button is missing. Mild staining and holes are present. The jacket features an A.G. Spalding Bros manufacturers tag inside the collar. All buttons are missing with three button holes being held together with string. Also included is a cap with a Spalding manufacturer’s tag inside the rear sweatband. Condition issues are present throughout. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Hoffer family LOA.
