Status symbols come in all sizes and shapes, such as this straw hat designed to fit the heads of Los Angeles Dodgers in the early-mid 1960s when Tinseltown was falling in love with Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Company. Well-heeled fans would trade designer hats for these "L.A. Dodgers" caps. In white letters and around the brim are sewn-on illustrations of five Dodger players in various stages of action, including one of the great Sandy Koufax in a classic pose, staring in for a sign. The hat is stitched in brown, blue and white and is in excellent condition.
