The expansion Houston Colt 45s began in 1962, playing at a mosquito haven called Colt Stadium. Led by Roman Mejias and Dick Drott, the Colts lost 96 games in each of their first 3 seasons before moving to the Astrodome. That bygone Colt era when losses outnumbered even the mosquitoes are brought back by this souvenir 4-1/2" ceramic mini bobbin head doll depicting a boy in a uniform with "Colts" across the front and a white hat with the team's old logo of two pistols with barrels crossed. The word "Houston" is on the base. The doll is in near flawless conditon.
