Lot Description  

Cap Anson played a record 27 consecutive seasons. He was regarded as one of the greatest players of his era and one of the first superstars of the game. Original Cap Anson Embossed Studio Photograph measuring 6-1/4” x 8-1/4” adorned at the bottom right corner “SILVER & FRIEDMAN 12 S. FIFTH CHICAGO IL”. Photograph is in NM condition overall. Originates from the Anson Estate.
