Ted Williams hand-written letter on “COMMODORE PERRY HOTEL TOLEDO OHIO” letter head measuring 6” x 9.5”, on two pieces of paper. The letter was written during Williams’ 1938 Minneapolis Millers stint. Letter comes with original envelope hand dated “AUG 12 7PM 1938”. The body of the letter sates “There going to have a day for all the Minneapolis Ball players when we get back & we can have anything we want within reason. I asked them for 3 cases of shot gun shells but I’ll probably only get 1 or 2”. It concludes “Your Pal/who misses you more then anyone in San Diego. Ted Williams Write Soon”. Cursive writing is done in black ink, autograph rates a 7. NM condition overall. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
