Lot Description  

This pair of NBA All-Defensive Team Awards recognizes the stellar defensive play of HOFer Dennis Johnson, who led the Seattle SuperSonics to their first and only NBA title in 1979, before twice repeating that championship feat with Larry Bird and the Celtics in 1984 and 1986. The 1983-1984 award dates to that first Celtics championship season. The awards themselves come in blue official NBA display covers, which each measure 9” x 11-1/2”. The 1980-1981 award has a small tear on the bottom front while the 1983-1984 award is in EX condition.
