Hiedo Nomo was an NPB baseball legend and then exploited a loophole to free himself from his contract, and became the first Japanese Major Leaguer to permanently relocate to MLB in the US - paving the way for the likes of Ichiro and Ohtani. In the MLB, he was an All-Star in 1995, as well as the NL ROY, a 2x strikeout leader and threw two career no-no’s. In 1995, he struck out 11.01 batters per 9, to break Sandy Koufax’s single-season franchise record of 10.546 in 1962. On the front left tail of this white knit, is the MLB / Majestic label, with a size 52 tag attached. Team name (Dodgers) across the chest, in blue tackle twill. Player number (10) below in red and on the back, in blue on white tackle twill. Player name (NOMO) across the back, also in blue on white tackle twill. MLB logo patch on the back of the neck. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
