After his baseball career Casey Stengel served on the Los Angeles City Council. In honor of his retirement in 1965 the city presented this 22”x15” plaque to the hall of famer. Accompanied by an LOA from John Maximillan Lawson III the grand nephew of Stengel and a member of the Lawson estate who originally sold many Stengel items.
