Guy Lafleur is a five-time Stanley Cup champion and two-time NHL MVP. Lafleur was selected with the 1st overall pick in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Lafleur would go on to establish himself as one of the all-time greats in the history of the sport. He is so recognized in the revered ‘The Hockey News’ book from the 1990’s that ranked the 50 greatest players in NHL history. Guy was honored as the 11th greatest player in NHL history in that prestigious publication. Attached to the inside collar is a Maska manufacturer’s tag that is partially detached and a MADE IN CANADA material tag MEN 50. Canadians logo crest on the front, done in red on white on blue tackle twill. The player number (10) is on both sleeves as well as the back in white on blue tackle twill. Across the back on a red nameplate is the player name (LAFLEUR) in white tackle twill. Multiple repairs and nice wear throughout. The fight strap is intact. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a Byron’s Hockeyland LOA which states in part that this jersey was originally sourced from a prominent collector.
