A highly athletic and exciting player who played the majority of his career in Minnesota, while making a brief stop in the Big Apple, Fran Tarkenton owned every major quarterback record at the time of his retirement. A nine-time Pro Bowler, and NFL MVP in 1975, the prolific Georgia alum was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986. Rare purple cold-weather style heavy knit. On the front left tail are two Sand-Knit labels. One is the Exclusive tag and the other is size 48 with wash instructions. Player number (10) is screened in white on the front/back and both sleeves. Player name (TARKENTON) is done in white tackle twill on a purple nameplate across the back. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
