Hall of Famer and the 1971 ABA Rookie of the Year Dan Issel scored his 10,000th career point on January 8th, 1975 in a 113-96 victory over the Virginia Squires. Issel scored 14 points in the game and added 6 rebounds. The offered ABA game-used basketball is the actual ball that Issel used to score his 10,000th point. Rawlings manufactured “Official ABA” red, white and blue color-schemed basketball with a great vintage look and feel. The ball features a stamped commissioner signature. Issel signed the ball in black marker with the added inscription “1/8/75 Colonels v Squires 10,000 point game” and in our opinion the signature rates a near 10. Also included is a wooden stand with an engraved plate reading “10,000 PTS. 1974-ABA”. Accompanied by an Issel LOA and a Full JSA LOA.
