Jerry Koosman was a 2x All-Star with the Mets, 1969 World Series Champ, #36 retired and a member of the NY Mets HOF. Koosman pitched in 9 games during the '67 season. The shirt is tagged for '66 and features a team instituted number change, to 36 which likely attributes this jersey to being worn by Koosman during his Rookie campaign with the Mets. On the front left tail of this pinstripe flannel, is THE SPALDING LABEL. Further below, is a wash tag with a flag tag attached: SET 1 1966. Team name (Mets) across the chest and player number (36 - team instituted number change) below that and on the back, both done on blue felt on orange tackle twill. Repair in between the numerals on the front and above the 6 on the back. Mets disc patch on the left sleeve. Sans strip tag inside the neck. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear with extended organizational use.
