Pete Rose, a switch hitter, is the all-time Major League leader in hits (4,256), games played (3,562), at-bats (14,053) and more. He won three World Series rings, three batting titles, one Most Valuable Player Award (this season), two Gold Gloves, the Rookie of the Year Award and made 17 All-Star appearances at an unequaled five different positions (2B, LF, RF, 3B & 1B). In 1999, Rose was named to the Major League Baseball All-Century team. In 1973 The Reds won the National League West with a Major League-best record of 99–63. Inside the front tail of this white knit, is the Rawlings size 44 label, with a set tag attached: SET 1 #8P 1973, which both appear to have been restored. Reds logo patch on the left breast. Player number (14) on the front / back and player name (ROSE) arched across the back - all done in red tackle twill. Rose has signed inside the neck, in red marker, in our opinion rating an 8. Staining on the back of the jersey. Inside the waist of the pants, is the Rawlings size 34 label with a strip tag below: 34 23 73 chain stitched in red. This jersey and pants are properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
