Pitching for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, he teamed with Sandy Koufax during the late 1950s and early-middle 1960s to form one of the most dominating pitching duos in history. Nicknamed "Big D", he used brush back pitches and a sidearm fastball to intimidate batters. He was 1x Cy Young, 9x All-Star, 3x MLB strikeout leader and 3x World Champion. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1984. On the front left tail of this grey flannel, is the Rawlings size 46 label. Stitched below in blue, is ‘Drysdale 66’. Below that is a wash tag, with attached flag tag: SET 1 1966. ‘Los Angeles’ across the chest, done in blue felt. Player number (53) done in red felt on the front and blue felt on the back. The player numbers show minor condition issues, and the second button from the top is gone. Tiny repairs on the right breast and rear right sleeve, neither impacting visual displayability. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a letter from SGC / Grob.
