Pittsburgh Pirates hall of famer and power hitter Willie Stargell holds the record for most home runs in the 1970s at 296. Stargell spent his entire career with the Pirates leading them to World Series titles in 1971 and 1979. This New Era Pirates cap has had the size tag removed. Stargell’s number 8 appears in Roman numerals on the underside of the brim. The cap has been presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
