After retiring from basketball in 1994, Michael Jordan spent the next year pursuing a childhood dream to play professional baseball. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox of the American League, reported to spring training, and was assigned to the minor league affiliate Birmingham Barons. In the 1994 season he recorded 51 RBI and 30 SB. He led the club with 11 bases-loaded RBI and 25 RBI with runners in scoring position with two outs. Inside the back collar of this white pinstripe knit, is the Wilson size (48) label, with a 94 year patch below. Team name (Barons) across the front, with player number (45) below that and on the back - all done in black on grey tackle twill. Barons logo patch on the left sleeve and PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL 125TH ANNIVERSARY on the left. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
