MLB All-Star and World Series Champion, Derek Lowe’s 2004 post-season performance led the Boston Red Sox to their first championship in 86 years. Lowe threw shutout ball for 7 innings in Game 4, to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0 in the series. The Red Sox victory marked the end of the “Curse of the Bambino” that had been a huge part of Boston culture for nearly a century. This size 12 1/2 (2.5oz / 70.87grams) championship ring was ordered by Lowe as an exact duplicate of his player ring for his wife. The rings face is covered with diamonds and rubies with the interior reading “86 Years, 10-27-04, Josten's 18K.” The ring is in mint condition and is accompanied by the original presentation box. Accompanied by an LOA from the Lowe family.
