Johnny Sain was the first MLB pitcher to pitch to Jackie Robinson and the last to pitch against Babe Ruth in organized baseball and went onto have a coaching career. This size 7 3/8 cap has been autographed by Sain in black ink and in our opinion the autograph rates a 9. The cap has Sain’s number 23 on the underside of the cap for player attribution. The cap has been presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
