The 1986 MLB All-Star game was the 57th midsummer classic, held at the Houston Astrodome. The AL beat the NL 3-2 and ended a streak of 13/14 NL wins. Roger Clemens was MVP. Keith Hernandez was one of the best players of his generation and certainly one of the better announcers in the game today. His accolades include: 5x All-Star, 2x WS Champ (this season included), 11x Gold Glover, 1979 NL Batting Champ and his No. 17 retired by the NY Mets. In 1986, Keith finished 4th in MVP voting. The size 12 ring (30g) has a brilliant blue stone in the center surrounded by “BASEBALL ALL STAR 1986” in raised lettering. The left shank features the Astros logo with a Texas star while the right shank shows the 1986 All-Star Game logo with a winged star. “LGB OTC” is engraved on the interior of the band. Accompanied by a Keith Hernandez LOA.
