Ronald Reagan is considered one of the most prominent figures in recent American history. His presidency from 1981-1989 is known as the Reagan era and still has an impact on American politics to this day. Once a Hollywood actor, Reagan started in over 50 films before taking his career into the world of politics. He was elected Governor of California in 1966 and served until 1975. A few years later he won the 1980 Presidential election against Jimmy Carter in a landslide victory and served for two terms. During his presidency Reagan implemented a series of reforms known as “Reaganomics” which helped turn around the period of stagflation that started in the late 1970’s while also dealing with Cold War tensions. Reagan is one of nine U.S. presidents to survive an assassination attempt. This autograph is part of an official White House card. Reagan’s autograph appears in a black ink and rates a 10 in our opinion. The card has been graded an encapsulated by PSA with a Grade of “GEM MINT 10”.
