Sergei Federov is a member of both the Hockey HOF as well as the International Ice Hockey Federation HOF. During the 1993-94 season, he earned the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Frank J. Selke Trophy and the Lester B Pearson Award. He also finished second in scoring behind Gretzky, with 56 goals and 120 points. During a 1993-94 pregame interview, Gretzky said that he had never seen a player dominate the game the way that Sergei did. Later in the season, Gretzy also commented that he thought Federov was “the best player in the game at this point.” Inside the back tail, is the Red Wings ‘2001-2002 AUTHENTIC GAME JERSEY 1ST SET’ tag. Inside the back of the neck is the MADE IN CANADA size (52) tag. The number (3) is screened above in white. Player number (91) on the sleeves, as well as the back. Player name (FEDOROV) across the back. All done in white tackle twill. KOHO patch on the back of the neck. Fightstrap intact with salting present. Stick marks and board burns present. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by a Red Wings team COA and letters from GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET - one states “The sleeves on this gamer have been customized to Federov’s specs. The game wear on this 1st set size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Federov wearing this exact jersey during the 2001-02 season.”
