This was the first ever hockey game played in the new Yankee Stadium. Under a picturesque light snow and 25-degree temps, NYC embraced the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series when a festive crowd of 50,105 watched the NY Rangers defeat the NJ Devils 7-3, on January 26, 2014 at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx. This puck was the first puck used in the game. It was dropped at center ice between NY Center Derek Stepan and NJ Center Travis Zajac to start the game. The puck is coded and registered by NHL-MGG as No. 149116, with the unique Stadium Series NY logo for this game. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA.
