Strawberry was considered to be the next Willie Mays or Josh Gibson hitting long distance home runs with great regularity. On the left front tail is the "Goodman" label with the size "42." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mets" in script style letters and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Strawberry." The player number "18" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Mets "25th Anniversary" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
