On the front left tail is the Spalding manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Embroidered below is “Abernathy Set 1 57” in chain stitching. On the inside front left tail is a tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1957”. Inside the collar is a strip tag reading “Abernathy 57” embroidered. Across the chest reads “WASHINGTON” and on the back is the player number “15”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on red tackle twill. The front zipper is intact and functional. Also included is a matching pair of Spalding size “38” pants with a strip tag reading “Abernathy 15” along with a tag with washing instructions and the player number “15” handwritten in black marker. A pair of matching stirrups are also included. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
